Flavoured Butters

Dress up your dinner party or holiday brunch with flavoured butter. From herbs and fruit to chocolate and honey—the possibilities are endless! If you're feeling fancy, press the butter into molds and chill. Or, roll the butter into logs and wrap in parchment paper. Tie the wrapped and chilled log up with a string, attach a tag and give as a host gift the next time you're invited to someone's home.

Preserves & Butter

Stir together 1/2 cup softened butter, 2 Tbsp. pureed preserves, and 1/2 tsp. finely chopped fresh rosemary. The addition of the rosemary lifts this butter from sweet to savoury and is especially wonderful on warm biscuits.

Chevre & Chives Butter

Stir together 1/2 cup softened butter; 1/2 (4-oz.) goat cheese log, softened; 2 tablespoons chopped chives; and 1/4 tsp. cracked pepper. Lovely melted on broccoli or on pasta.

Honey & Cardamom Butter

Stir together 1/2 cup softened butter, 1 Tbsp. honey, and 1/4 tsp. ground cardamom. This one is amazing on pancakes!

Lemon & Garlic

Stir together 1/2 cup softened butter, 2 tsp. lemon zest, 4 roasted garlic cloves; and 2 tsp. finely chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley. Perfect on thick-sliced bread served with soup.
