Avocado Berry Smoothie

Looking for a simple and nutritious breakfast? Blend up a smoothie to start your day right! Avocados are high in Vitamins C and B, plus folic acid, fibre and potassium.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 ripe avocado
  • 1 ripe banana (fresh or frozen—the riper the sweeter)
  • 1 1/2 cup mixed frozen berries
  • 1 cup of orange juice (can sub coconut water, almond milk, etc)
  • honey to taste (optional)

METHOD

Throw everything into your blender/Vitamix/Magic Bullet/what have you and blend until everything's smooth. Enjoy!* Pro Tip: Pour any left over smoothie into popsicle molds or an ice cube tray for frozen treats later on.
