It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Stuart McKean. Stuart was a highly respected Store Manager at our Mayne Island and Q-Cove locations for over 22 years. Stuart left us on his own terms after battling ALS for the past two years. His passing came one day after the ALSBC Walk To End ALS where his “Team Salmon Guy” surpassed his goal of raising $10,000 dollars.We are all so very sad and our thoughts and prayers go out to Stuart's wife, Val and the rest of his family. Stu was an amazing store manager for us for over two decades and many of his past employees consider him to be the best boss they ever had. He fought ALS valiantly. A cure needs to be found. Tight lines, Salmon Guy. You will be missed.
