French onion dip is a classic sidekick for potato chips and cut veggies. This recipe side steps the soup mix and includes some fresh herbs. So simple!
INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup sour cream (full fat is ideal, but any kind will work)
- 1 tablespoon dehydrated chopped onion
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 pinch garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon chopped chives
- 1 teaspoon of fresh or dried parsley + any other chopped herbs you like
METHOD
Combine all ingredients in a small bowl and mix thoroughly. Season to taste. Refrigerate for an least an hour, allowing the dried onion to soften up and the flavours to do their things. Serve with chips and cut veggies. The dip keeps for up to a week in the fridge.
